itacarezinho's Beach

The first time I went to Praia de Itacarezinho it was still called Praia da Camboinha. The name Itacarezinho came from the place that Dr. Eny had bought when there was nothing on the beach, which is wide, full of beautiful coconut trees and a practically untouched scenery. Currently with the presence of the Itacarezinho Restaurant on the left end and the Txai Resort, in the center, Itacarezinho can be considered a large strip of almost deserted sand. Although the two large complexes break the bucolic atmosphere a little, Itacarezinho offers peace and tranquility in a large part of the beach.

With a strong influence of the tide, Praia de Itacarezinho can, on the same day, vary between a large pool or a beautiful sea full of good waves for surfing. It all depends on the moon and the time you are there. To spend the day, enjoy the delicious thatched huts and lounges at Restaurante Itacarezinho, with a refined menu, well-prepared dishes and a great infrastructure. The place is ideal for those who do not give up service on the beach.

Very close to the restaurant, at the left end of the beach, a small waterfall offers visitors a good bath. For those who prefer the desert climate, just leave the car at the restaurant and walk towards the more distant stretches. If the pace allows it, walk towards the right side of the sand strip and go to the beach where the Tijuípe River meets, where you can also enjoy a freshwater bath.

The more adventurous can visit Itacarezinho along the Quatro Praias Trail route, which also passes by Praia da Engenhoca, Praia Havaizinho and Praia da Camboinha (or Gamboa). A great choice for a full day of sightseeing, with the right to a final rest in this paradise of Itacaré.
