Praia da Tiririca is the most constant surf point in Bahia. Located less than 1 km from the city center, the beach is surrounded by rocky shores and has strong waves all year round. It is considered the best place to surf in Bahia and for this reason it is always full of surfers.
The fast, hollow, short and strong waves of Tiririca allow you to practice radical maneuvers almost 365 days a year. Tiririca is not recommended for beginner surfers.
At Praia da Tiririca is the headquarters of ASI (Itacaré Surf Association) and has a skate park, slackline, and a place to play capoeira.
